Hey!! I’m Raven St. Pierre, author or several interracial/multicultural and African-American romance novels, which can be found here. Aside from writing, I’m a wife and mother living in Michigan. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources somewhere on my bookcase collecting dust. I was all set to jump right in and seek gainful employment in my field, but then I completely immersed myself in my writing. Haven’t looked back since 😀

I’m a hobbyist by nature, meaning I have a number of pet projects that I’m passionate about and can’t wait to master. My list of skills to perfect includes: playing the acoustic guitar, painting, and jewelry making.

I’m pretty much an open book, so if there’s anything I didn’t mention that you’d like to know, or if you’d just like to say “hey”, I’m cool with that, too!

Here’s a look at my published and upcoming works, plus all my info 🙂

  1. Hi Raven, I love your books. I’m a writer myself and am wondering if you have any advice about how to market books? I’m hitting up all the social media sites and book clubs I can find. Are there other avenues that I haven’t considered? How did you get started and how long have you been writing? Thanks for your time.

    • Hi, Nakeesha! Thank you so much for reaching out! As far as marketing, I STAY on YouTube watching podcasts geared specifically toward authors who self-publish as I have done. They offer some amazing tips for both short-term and long-term plans. I also find quite a few books on Amazon that have helped me tremendously! Do a search and see which ones appeal to your specific needs or whatever area you feel like you’re lacking. But here’s a link for my playlist of podcasts I swear by and you should subscribe to some of their channels so you can get updates! Hope this helps and feel free to email me if you have any other questions 😀 raven.stpierre@gmail.com

      Talk soon!!

    • Oh! I forgot to answer the other part of your question LOL! I completed my first full-length novel in 2009, but didn’t publish until 2013. Because I mostly write interracial romance, I realized that big publishers don’t pick them up because they don’t know how to market them. So, after trying and failing to find a traditional publisher who saw the commercial potential in my work, I researched the heck out of the self-publishing industry and finally went for it November 2013. It’s still a learning process, but it always will be. Things change so fast, trends come and go, and there are always new ways to reach readers; therefore, you should never stop chasing knowledge as it pertains to your passion 🙂

  2. I’ve just finished reading Only Love and I absolutely loved it! Where can I find book #2 Javi’s story? The blurb said it was out last year but I can’t find it anywhere.

  3. Hi Raven. I love your stories and thank you for continuing to publish in print format. Love it.
I am wondering and waiting for Men of Indecent Exposure #2. I have read and re-read Marco so many times, but I am interesting in exploring Justin. Any News?????
